H.I. 101 Professional Home Inspection Training

Our Professional Home Inspection Training class is second to none in the industry. Our instructors are code certified and are experienced tradesmen in their respective fields delivering a broad knowledge of residential building practices and inspection procedures as well as report writing skills and marketing techniques. The Georgia Institute for Builders and Home Inspectors' training is designed to get the students in and out in six weeks, back on the streets making money as a home inspector. It's a 60 hour course taught on Saturdays, one Friday in the field performing an inspection, and a final exam usually on a Sunday. The first Saturday session is titled Orientation & Structure l, followed by Electrical and Plumbing, HVAC and Interior, Structure 2, and Report Writing and Sales & Marketing. Each class begins at 9:00am, breaks for lunch at around 1:00pm, and finishes at around 6:00pm. These classes are individual modules, so if you miss one all you have to do is wait until it cycles back around, then just come in and pick that one up.

Tuition for this course is $1,495.00. Books and study materials cost  $395.00. Financing is available. Prices are subject to change without notice.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Are you hiring home inspectors?

We are looking for people who want to have their own business but we do have a tested and proven system in place to help get you started once you successfully complete the class.

How much money can I make as a home inspector?

That depends on you. A home inspector is a person who owns his/her own business. What you make depends on how much you are willing to work. If you market yourself well, you can keep yourself busy in this industry.

Is there a demand for home inspectors?

Yes. Homebuyers are becoming better educated about all aspects of the home buying process. They are listening to the consumer advocates who tell them, "get your houses inspected." The work is out there and it isn't hard to find. All you have to do is reveal yourself to the market.

How much does the class cost?

Tuition for this course is $1,495.00. Books and study materials cost $395.00. Financing is available. Prices are subject to change without notice.
